Přístup a přistání
From Reykjavik, take road 1 in the direction of Selfoss. Just before Hveragerdi, when the road starts to go downhill from the highest point, there is a small gravel track on the right (south) side of the road. Follow this rough track to the edge of the cliff. Anywhere at the base of the cliff. We usually try to get close to the road, to make the walkout easier.

Kambar is underneath the FAXI TMA, which is base 3000 feet AMSL or 1000 feet above ground, whichever is higher. This means that if you wish to fly over the nearby mountains, you MUST be less than 1000 feet/ 305m above all terrain over 610m/2000 feet.
