Podmínky

400 meters east of the Castle Rock car park on the Summit Road. Nice scenic soaring/light thermal site. Best flying is in light or dropping S to SW winds. Wind speed can increase rapidly here but this is easily seen on the water of Lyttleton harbour. If the wind is W of SW expect significant turbulence.

You can get the gondola then take the track west to the Bridle Path, then a further 300 meters west to the south facing take off.
