- talk to local pilot before flying there (see web link below). - small hike & fly site, around 400’ above LZ . - site often works well 1-2 hours before sunset, when the coastal marine layer is present . - there are 3 possible launch areas, launch lower in higher winds. - bail out landing is anywhere in the field out front, typically cross wind. - stay out front in high wind, wind can pick up and blow-back is possible . - be very aware that there is a lot of mechanical turbulence on the adjacent hill to the north as it is rocky and textured.
