Launch area is a little scruffy, steep, and restricted in size. No overrun, due trees immediately below launch - requires enough wind to lift you off your feet and a firm run or you will be treed right on the edge of the cliff! Zero-wind launches are out of the question. Minimum wind 10km/hr approx, or at pilots' discretion. The LZ next to the marae can be turbulent.
