One of the best soaring and XC sites in the area. Magnificent evening glass-offs. All pilots wishing to fly Anarchist must sign a waiver at the Desert Cultural Center http://www.nkmipdesert.com and must, upon signing in, prove that they hold current HPAC Insurance. Times to Fly - Afternoon & evening. May 'Victoria Day Long Weekend' Low Key Fly-In each year. Anarchist is a better thermal site during the day when a breeze is coming in. However it is a SPECTACULAR Evening Glass Off Site, where glass off extends all the way across the lake. The 'House' Thermal it is to the left of launch in the bowl near to the vehicle parking area. Or work back right to the North face. Big sink not too far off to the left (east) Not a wise idea to fly over the USA Border without following protocol. Good XC routes east past Rock Creek, north to Vaseaux Lake, west to Hedley.

Rugged 2WD. Hyw. 3 heading East from Osoyoos, turn north and drive in 2.4 Km on Long Joe Road. (Last road off on long hill heading East out of Osoyoos. Or the first road if you're coming down the hill heading West.). Then take the first Left turn heading north for 0.6 Km. A short hike uphill to a small grassy slope.
