Vítejte v Arnipě na ostrově Andøya. Z Arnipy můžete vzlétnout téměř jakýmkoli směrem. Chůze nahoru z hlavního parkoviště na severu trvá asi 15–20 minut. Sever/severovýchod: Vzlétněte směrem k údolí a mířte k silnici. Přistát můžete na bažině. Východ/jihovýchod: Tato oblast je nejvhodnější pro plachtění a může to být docela zábava! Andøya is unfortunately known for its not so good weather. Visit for the latest weather report. There is also possible to check out the METAR or AIRMET for Andøya airport. The best day for Arnipa is when the wind is coming from East/south east.
Přístup a přistání
The road is closed during the winter. Take off from the main road (RV 80) just 50m north off Toyota Auto at Myrset. Follow the mountain road towards the mountain and remember to close the gate when passing through it. Follow the road all the way to the parking site, just beside a sheep paddock. Landing can be done on all the bogs and fields, but stay away from the cabins in the area. The locals are maintaining the road out to the mountain so we don't want to disturb them. Also be aware of sheep and wet landings.

Contact Andøya tower before flying. The flying site is just at the boundary of the control zone, so it is still mandatory to request flight clearance. Telephone: 76116272, or check out www.ippc.no for updated information about opening hours etc. If the airport is closed, you can fly without any problems. - Remember to close the gate when driving towards the mountain. - No landing near the cabins. - No landing at the bog south west of Arnipa, as this is a bird reservation area. - Do not scare away any sheep.
