A fantastic site! The possibilities of crossing are numerous. Plan to arrive at the takeoff spot relatively early, because the site can get blocked quickly. Situation : Region of Saint-Louis (South Coast) Altitude : 2 000 m ASL Access: is made form the village of Flight plan : The simplest way is to set to the right after the déco. Go past the hill then follow the chain, always to the right. Count the crests under your feet, until the fourth, if you are on a rather high, you can see Cilaos cirque and Piton des neiges to the right (a great moment !). There, have a small look below : you get to the fifth crest, a littel lower is Entre-deux village, stright ahead Saint-Etienne river which runs out of Cilaos cirque. Quarter turn to the left, follow the crest up to the cisterns. From there, you can see the football field landing ground. Aerology : Beware of the East wind in the takeoff, you would fall leewards of crests when leaving takeoff ; strong guaranteed turbulences !
