Grass land ,esay take off, facing south ,south east Haoyang cliff is a fantastic site for it beauty and strong thermal conditions. This site is far from city pollution so inversion is not so low like Beijing , and the temperature difference from day and night is always reach 18 C degrees. The cliff is mainly facing south and part of it facing west,soth .sout east, south west wind is ok.The height of it ranges from 300 to 600 meters, but it is easy to climb up to 3000 meters at summer and the fall. About the time for this site should be from May to Oct. The road to Chaoyang cliff will took you 3 hours driving from Beijing City, first to Yangqin town then Jiuxian ,at last Houchengzi, sure , better with local pilots here.
Přístup a přistání
To get to the launch place , a 4X4 Jeep is a must; The hotel at the foot of maintain provide such a service : a trip to top by a old 4*4 Jeep (which can took 4 pilots with gliders) charge 20 euros. If you like to climb up to the launch site, it will took you no more than 1 hour, I think.
