Based on satellite images, I think this is not located correctly... I went and explored the area and I think the best launch location would be here: 40.028006, -124.058454 There is a trail up from the beach at this location as well. More pictures: http://www.humboldtwings.com/HCShelterCoveMORE.htm. Be aware of local airport traffic. Trail back up from beach has a lot of poison oak. West is best I'd think
